Our approach
Shift Some Timber combines authoritative information with lived-experience context. We aim to answer the question people actually searched for, then help them understand what the answer might mean in normal life.
For clinical and health topics
We prioritise authoritative UK sources such as NHS, NICE, GOV.UK and primary research where appropriate. We link readers to underlying sources rather than asking them to trust us blindly.
No fake authority
We do not invent doctors, reviewers, quotes, statistics, credentials or personal stories. If a page has not been clinically reviewed, we do not imply that it has.
Commercial separation
Sponsored relationships and affiliate links are disclosed. Commercial value does not buy an editorial conclusion.
Corrections
If we get something materially wrong, we want to correct it. Contact [email protected] with a specific concern and source where possible.
